Check in on your fellow Etown students and read about their time abroad!

Alyson Courtney:

Alyson Courtney (2017) is currently studying abroad for a semester in Dunedin, New Zealand! Unsure about where to go abroad? Check out Aly’s blog, Dunedin Night Shelter’s Sleep Out Event & Volunteer Work Reflection about the event she recently attended which raises awareness and funds for the hosting organization and provides emergency accommodation for those experiencing homelessness in the local community.

We actually wound up on the front page of the Otago Daily Times!” Courtney said.

Emily West:

Interested in going to Brussels? Emily West (2017) studied abroad during her junior year, 2015 – 2016, and participated in the European Peace and Security Studies Certificate Program at Vesalius College in her first semester.

I finished the semester not only with a certificate, but also with a greater capacity of knowledge of international security that could become highly beneficial in a future position as a professional in international affairs,” West said.
